Youth Interns for Progress, Peace, and   Justice

What?

A Project to Reduce Crime and Improve Racial Equity

 We are looking for youth with experiences in foster care and or the juvenile justice system who have been charged with low-level nonviolent offenses to serve as interns for social change.  

Who?

Males and Females Ages  17-25

A willingness to learn, grow and contribute

Experiences in foster care and or the juvenile justice system who have been charged with low-level nonviolent offenses

A member of a group who is over-represented in foster care, juvenile justice or the homeless population; male or female in keeping with the spirit of the ‘My Brother’s Keeper Initiative.’

A desire for continuing education

Limited access to options for stability i.e no family or other community support

A limited amount of housing may be available for youth who are homeless and meet the program guidelines.
