Anup shared the vision of a place where everyone belongs. As a recent graduate of a local community college majoring in art, Anup and I discussed the need for an inclusive intentional community that could also serve as transitional housing for homeless young adults. As an accomplished artist, earnings from the work Anup sold were donated to a local homeless service provider. He gave me the attached photo of a drawing during a Christmas gathering. I often wonder if it is a self-portrait. Anup died unexpectedly before we could move forward together to help advance the vision.
